8:00-9:00pm, Thursday, November 2 LGBT Resource Center (Room 323, Illini Union)

Getting involved in research is a valuable experience for all undergraduates, regardless of your major or career path. You gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for your field, valuable teamwork and leadership experience, and an impressive boost to your résumé or CV. Come to this week’s meeting for a discussion on research. How can you get involved? What is the experience usually like? What are the pitfalls you should avoid? All these questions and more will be discussed on Thursday. Grad students are especially encouraged to attend to share their expertise with their younger peers.
