Discussion: Being LGBTQ in different cultural settings Emergency election for Social Chair

This Thursday, we will be meeting in the LGBTRC to discuss the way that being queer can be different across different spaces and cultures. What is it like being trans in the United States, and how does this experience differ from that of a trans person in India? Is homosexuality treated differently in China than in western cultures? We can all learn a lot from each other's experiences. Hope to see you there!

Also, our recently-elected Social Chair, Nathan Walters, sadly is currently incapable of serving on the exec board due to his illness. Because of this, we will be looking for a new person to take his place. Hopefully we can just do this election quickly at the beginning of the meeting. If you're interested in running, we would love to have you on exec for the rest of this semester.
