8:00–9:00pm, Thursday, September 21 LGBT Resource Center (Room 323, Illini Union)

As LGBTQIA+ individuals, having to work in a professional environment can be a very intimidating prospect. Rules pertaining to topics such as dress code and behavior can be frustrating to us, the queers. So what to do? Come to our guided discussion on “professionalism” in the workplace to talk about your experiences, good or bad. Learn methods from other members to cope with or dismember the constructs. Give advice on what to do in a given situation in which you were subjected to workplace discrimination. Arm yourself with the knowledge you need for queering your future workplace!

Also if anyone is interested, feel free to bring a resume for a peer-resume review.
